The TG-7 from Electro Voice is a professional-quality, rack mountable stereo power amplifier designed for applications where rock-solid reliability is of the utmost importance. The amplifier uses three-stage Class-H circuitry for high performance with very low distortion, while the "floating" switching power supply maximizes efficiency.
A multi-stage advanced thermal protection system prevents the unit from shutting down if the temperature reaches a critical level. An LCD display and several status LEDs show the current condition of the amplifier. An expansion slot allows you to install a remote control module (sold separately) for compatibility with IRIS-Net, which allows remote monitoring and control functions, as well as a two-channel digital audio controller and speaker protection algorithms.
Rugged design for professional use
Can be rack or desk mounted
Class-H circuitry and "floating" switching power supply for high output and high efficiency
Terrific audio quality with low distortion
Operates in stereo or bridged mode
Multi-stage advanced thermal protection prevents shutoff when critical temperatures are reached
Mains current supervision prevents breakdown caused by activation of the automatic circuit breaker
Front-panel LCD and LED indicators keep you well-informed about the amplifier's status
Expansion slot allows you to install a remote control module (available separately) that is IRIS-Net compatible for remote monitoring and control, and also provides FIR-filtering and digital speaker protection algorithms
Individual level controls for each channel
XLR and Phoenix plug inputs
XLR, Speakon, and binding post output connectors
Selectable gain
Ground-lift switch minimizes hum caused by ground loops
Cooling fan with front-to-rear airflow
